We have a few reviews scheduled to be posted this week, but we want those who read those reviews to understand the context in which they were written.
We write critical reviews, picking apart these works with surgical precision. We do focus on only the best and worst aspects of a novel, highlighting the issues as well as the successes of every work. Some works may seem to receive a tepid or even bad review, but end up being recommended. This will be common, but if we review your work or a book you love, do not fret. If we pick it apart piece by piece we do so with love and respect. We know what it takes to self-publish, and the courage of the authors is not lost on us.
That being said, our goal, first and foremost, is to entertain and inform. Please keep this in mind when reading our reviews.
